1) What is the best way to fight off zombies?
2) Is it better to fight or to avoid altercation completely?
3) What weapons are best for fighting zombies?
4) Where can I be properly trained in using these weapons?
5) Where can I find/ how can I make proper zombie-slaying weapons?
6) What are the best fighting techniques when it comes to zombies?
7) Where can I study or be trained in fighting zombies?
8) What techniques are best in close combat?
9) What techniques are best for killing the most zombies with the least effort?
10) How can I avoid conflict with zombies?
I will answer these questions by researching fighting techniques and weapons used by both large groups of armed forces and by individuals under pressure. I plan on studying more zombie-specific fighting methods by researching zombie movies, and other media in which the living dead are portrayed.

Where I've Been
Dear Fellow Human Survivors,
I'm writing to let you know who I am and that I still walk this zombie-infested Earth. I hope to find that I'm not the only one still fighting. My name is Zoey Bruin and I am seventeen years old. Sometime in my childhood I was told that my name means “life.” It's almost as if my parents knew that I'd be such an avid slayer of the undead when they named me.
I've spent the last six months on the move, killing any zombie scum that steps in my path. I'm hoping to find my way towards a bigger city. Somewhere with more undead brains to smash but also other people to fight alongside of. Unless I'm the last one still putting up a fight. Not that that would be so unlikely. Even before this zombie apocalypse, when something needed to get done, if I didn't do it, nobody would. Except for my sister, the reason I'm heading toward more zombies instead of away. I intend to avenge her soul. She fought bravely with me on our way to the North where it is said zombies can't survive cold weather. But in our travels we came across one and though she fought strongly, she got bit. I killed them both. She had been my best friend in the world, who held my hand two and a half years earlier when I was 14 and she was 16, and we watched both of our parents get killed by zombies. But she wasn't the same person anymore. Her brain was completely changed and hopefully her soul had found somewhere better.
So now I'm on the move toward where they say the source of this zombie issue is. In every city and village I pass through I look for people who know something. Usually there is someone selling weapons or survival equipment. I often ask them to teach me something I don't know. I've learned many survival skills, and these fellow zombie-killing strangers have taught me many new fighting techniques. In my travels I've learned many new, more effective ways to kill zombies, and ways to avoid getting killed myself. So far my favorite way to kill a zombie is with this crowbar. Close combat is much scarier, than say, tossing a Molotov cocktail at a group of them, but it is much more rewarding when your goal is revenge. I try to travel lightly, but it is hard not to pick up new weapons when I come across them. This trip has definitely refined my business skills. Every city I pass through I leave with new weapons, enough food, alcohol, and cigarettes to make it to the next town, and clothes that are less stained with zombie brains.
I don't know how much time I have left to write, I can smell dead flesh in the air and it seems to be getting stronger. I could really use a cigarette right now.
